Annie Westford (Madsen) is a bookstore clerk whose relationship with her husband Jack (Greenwood) has reached an all-time low.
Jack is a former cop who had to resign and now holds a boring job as a security officer at a local bank.
Frustrated with his career and life, Jack engages in an affair with Isabella, an officer at the bank, and makes her a willing accomplice in his scheme to steal three million dollars from the bank’s vault.
Annie becomes the innocent victim in a web of deceit and betrayal that will have her fighting for her life.
