This film, winner of four Academy Awards, has acclaimed director, Steven Spielberg, weaving the spell-binding tale of American archaeologist, Indiana Jones – a mild-mannered, boyish and crush-inducing university professor on some days, an intrepid, swashbuckling and grizzled adventurer on others. The American government hires him to search for the elusive and legendary Ark of the Covenant, which is believed to hold the stone tablet with the Ten Commandments inside. Jones has to find it before the Nazis do, as whoever finds it controls the destiny of the human race.
