After killing a cop, Maggie Hayward (Fonda) is staring at a death sentence by lethal injection. However, when she awakens, she finds herself at a secret government institution for mercenaries.
A man, known only as Bob (Byrne), strikes a deal with her: we won't kill you if you learn to kill for us. But Maggie is no cold-blooded killer and as she guns down enemies of the state, a death sentence slowly reveals itself to be a kinder option. But there's no turning back now.
